Review content:
Island Gym Tanning has tanning beds as well as stand-up booths. I began doing the tanning bed and eventually moved on to the stand up booths. The stand ups are for 10 minutes, the tanning beds are 20 minutes. When you come and sign in, you are asked how many minutes you want. You can do the full amount or less. Also you can pay per visit, or you can sign up for one of their plans. I prefer to pay per visit. In each tanning booth/bed, there is a radio/cd player. You can bring your own cd's. Each booth is private and feels safe. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. No need for an appointment during the week, but they recommend one on the weekends.
