Review content:
Between July 2010 and August 2011, two major repair actions of ALL PRO Transmission Specialists on my GMC 4L60E 4 speed automatic transmission w/ 180K miles were inadequate at best. 1st failure 182.6K miles. 2nd at 188K The boys at JAAAG, Inc. dba ALL PRO Transmission Specialists , deemed that their overhaul would be ~$1500 and warrantied [12months / 12K miles] at all ATRA repair shops. Repair took a 2 night motel stay At 182.6K miles, I was stranded in Louisville, Ky. w/ loud noise coming from the transmission. ALL PRO instructed me to see Middletown Transmission. They removed it and had them shipped it back to ALL PRO in Jackson? Luckily, I was w/ relatives and the 5 day turnaround was not a problem At 188K miles, 3rd/4th gear failed again in Nashville. Although still under ALL PRO Transmission warranty, I just could not delay this trip for ? days, so I had a Chevy dealer exchanged it with a Jasper rebuilt unit at $2610 w/ 3yr/100K mile warranty, spending only one night.
