When we decided to build our home we needed a construction loan.. we shopped this around at the banks we belonged to and to other banks that we didn't already belong to because we wanted to find a bank that worked with what we thought was important.. we ended up going through First State, which we were not prior members to because of a few reasons.. first off their staff was just super friendly, they sat with us and answered questions, gave us advice and really just got to know the situation before telling us what we had to do, which is the treatment we got at some other banks.. First State was very easy going with us from the beginning until the end, we were so glad we used them for our construction loan.. it was such a simple process that other banks just wanted to make way too complicated!
