I wouldn't recommend that anyone go to this location for anything other than an eye exam. The doctor is really nice and helpful, I have no problems with him. But the optician there (I'm not sure of his name) was rude, disrespectful, discourteous, and outright lied to me. Since my insurance only covers certain types of glasses, I had to choose my glasses from a particular rack. I chose a pair of black frames, and was told it would take a couple of weeks for them to come in. Well, I wait the couple of weeks and go in to see if they're there, and the glasses he ordered were not the ones I picked out. The ones he ordered were a tortoise color, and I told him that I had chosen the black frames. He then commenced to tell me that they never had black frames, that he knows that these were the ones I picked out. I knew he was lying because I'm not an idiot. He told me that he could send the frames back and get some plain brown ones, so I just dropped it and told him to do that. Well, after ANOTHER couple of weeks I called to see if the glasses were in and he tells me that my insurance had denied the claim. He was about to give me a pair 3 weeks earlier without any problem, but now all of the sudden my insurance won't pay. Lies!! What happened was that they charged my insurance twice, so obviously they wouldn't pay for the same glasses twice!!! After 2 MORE months of calling and getting no help, I finally go in to get everything straightened out. And where were the glasses that had supposedly never come in due to my insurance. SITTING ON THE COUNTER!!! The girl (thank the Lord it wasn't that man). gave my the glasses with no problem, and that was the end of it. I thought. Now, some 10 months later, I've starting receiving a bill from them (not itemized so I have no idea what it's for) and threatening letters because they say it's so late. By the time they sent me the first bill it was already over 90 days past due, and I know my insurance paid all of it anyway, so what was I supposed to do. Well, what I'm going to do is nothing. No payments, no phone calls, no nothing. Maybe they won't appreciate getting treated so badly.
