Review content:
I first went to Serenity for a massage. The customer service on the phone was not great. The atmosphere once arriving at the spa was fine, but a bit crowded and not overly comfortable or relaxing. The massage itself was good. The masseuse was knowledgable and competent. I went back to Serenity for a pedicure. Dawn was the pedicurist. She gave me one of the most unsatisfying pedicures of my life. It was overpriced - $40 for a one hour pedicure that lasted about 35 minutes. She was an awkward and uncomfortable person to talk to. She rushed through everything, and did not even loofa the bottom of my feet. The leg and foot rubs were short and not good. Worst of all, my polish started chipping withing a couple days and it all started peeling off about a week later. You can get a better pedicure at Walmart! There have to be better spas than this in Metairie, I was unsatisfied.
