Review content:
I worked with Malcolm on my engagement ring in March-April. I wanted an untraditional ring, with an antique look and only sapphires. The abundance of positive reviews on Citysearch let me know Whitefire was the place to go. I first reached out with an email through their website and Malcolm called me shortly after to talk about what I was looking for and what budget I wanted to be at. I brought a lot of pictures of designs I liked to our first meeting and Malcolm spent about an hour sketching out designs after looking over the pictures and a book of standard stone sizes (so he could make a new design that wouldn't require custom cutting, which takes more time & money). It was a lot of fun watching him sketch all these awesome designs with just paper & pencil--it actually looked liked sparkling stones! Even though it was just a pencil sketch, I knew when we had the final ring--it looked perfect. The computer-generated images later on were fun to see too. I'm glad they had final measurements on them since the sketch couldn't be exact. It took about 8 weeks for the whole process but it was well worth it. I love my ring & highly recommend Whitefire to anyone looking for any type of custom jewelry. They're creative, professional, and help you make good decisions so you don't spend thousands more than you need to!
