Review content:
For my anniversary, my husband gave me a gift certificate for 2 Hours of Bliss at the Amber Spa, which included a 1 hr. massage and 1 hr. spa pedicure. I had been looking forward to using the gift certificate for some time. I arrived 15 minutes early to the appointment, only to have to wait 35 minutes because the person was running late. That didn't surprise me, since the place doesn't allow time for room changeover in their scheduling. They had water out to drink but you could not tell if the glasses were clean or dirty. I finally got the massage I was waiting for and then it was time for the pedicure. Since the massage ran over, I assumed that the 1 hour spa pedicure would run over too. That was a wrong assumption! The woman rushed through the pedicure so quickly. I think she spent 25 minutes on my feet. It turns out she had another appointment. Now, there is nothing that irks me more than false advertising. I would say save your money and go somewhere else for a pedicure.
