I was a loyal patron of this salon for over 3 years. I drove many miles to see Joi for color and cuts. While I admit that I like to change my hair often and I have a strong opinion of what I like, I do not feel like I deserved to be treated so badly and unprofessionally. For about 2 years, I got great cuts and color, so it wasn't all bad. The last year I went to the salon there was a decline in the quality and level of service I received. The final straw was getting a horrible cut that resembled a bowl cut like Moe from the 3 Stooges. I had to go to a different salon and pay to have it corrected, so I paid for 2 cuts in 1 week. I know that Joi knew I was unsatisfied when I left, and not once did she contact me to offer any resolution to the issue. (The one time I did go back to her to have her even up a cut, she made me feel totally uncomfortable. So I wasn’t about to go back this time.) It really seemed like she was purposely trying to get rid of me. I'm cool with a stylist and customer disconnecting and needing to "break-up", but it is totally unprofessional for a stylist to give a customer a bad cut/color just to get rid of them. A conversation would have been much more professional. I sent a few of my friends to this salon as well, and they have all left too. I do miss the great cuts and color that I got from Joi for so long, but I just can’t go back. Pros: n/a Cons: n/a
