Review content:
G.P. Ranch has been selling Christmas trees for 25 years now. They have a wonderful selection of home grown Monterey pines and each year have about 1500 to choose from. They also import several hundred fir trees from Oregon. They had Nobles, Grands, Douglas, Frasier, Nordmann, and Silvertips from table top sizes to the georgeous 18 foot Noble (it belonged in a church). Our kids loved the playground and the small petting zoo they had set up and of course the visit Santa Clause made for pictures. One of the best things they offer that you can't always count on at a large tree lot in front of a store is the customer service. They will cut your tree, drill it for the tree stand, bale it, then carry it out to your car where they then tie them on. All you have to do is stand back and drink the coffee or hot chocolate they provide at no cost. The trees might cost a smidge more than those you find in town, but the experience is more than worth it. We will go back for sure.
Pros: Service, atmosphere, family tradition, fresh trees, Fair prices
Cons: 13 miles from Santa Maria
