Review content:
We contracted Daniel A McCord for new home construction. A few months after signing the contract, and providing multiple progress payment, Dan started making excuses as to why he was delayed in completing our work. Over and over he promised to show up and do work but never did. He said family members were dying (which was untrue), he said he was sick, there was always an excuse. Then he brough Shane Kae Tunbridge in, saying Shane Tunbridge would be our point of contact moving forward. Shane told us he was there to help resolve the issues. Shane and Dan promised delivery of materials and they were going to show up to do work, each day there was another excuse as to why the materials were not delivered and why they were not doing any work. Ultimately both Dan and Shane stopped returning phone calls and answering emails.
We would never recommend Dan or Shane to anyone. Dan walked away from our job and took our money. Shane made commitments to make things right and did not follow through. If you sign a contract with either of them you are putting yourself at risk for low quality workmanship, and ultimately them taking your money and walking away. Read other site reviews that will substantiate this, particularly yahoo, and check the BBB.
