Review content:
I came to Therapy Central to see Ken for my daughter Elena. As a dancer you expect pain along the way, but this pain was different. It was constant knee pain and she was having to sit out more and more in class. She missed most of her Senior year dancing with her dance team. It was so hard for her because dance is what she truly loves. I had taken her to an Orthopedic surgeon and had MRI of her knee, and her hips. Still no answers as to why my daughter has to suffer. I went to another facility and saw another Ortho doc and had more MRI's...still they "can't see anything" Only option was surgery to "explore" I just couldn't do it. A friend suggested Ken and Therapy Central so I went for it. It was a better option then surgery on a 18 dancer who plans to continue dancing through college. We went and I was really impressed about the initial eval and the education that Ken provided about hydration, body alignment, they way you sleep, etc. It was great. So then...the treatment started. Not going to say it was a peice of cake. Elena was so strong, some tears, deep breathing and she got through the session. As a mother it was very difficult to watch her go through the pain, but I had to believe it was better then exploratory surgery. Elena got off that table very sore, but NO KNEE PAIN!! She had suffered for so long with the pain and to hear her say my knee does not hurt was AWESOME!! She went on to win with her solo a National Champion Title. Ken and his staff are great, their goal is to treat you a couple of times and not need to see you back. They truly want your quality of life better. Elena had one additional treatment and has not been back since. She is at SFA as a dance major and is still pain free. If you have pain and no can help come to Therapy Central. It will hurt but it will work! That is the best motto. I tell everyone about this place. Thank you from one happy mom and one happy dancer!
