Blah blah blah Fenton's ice cream. Fenton's is all you hear about in the east bay and that's fine if you want a specialty sundae or a banana split big enough for 4 people. But sometimes, it's a warm day, and you just want to take the kids and get a cone.
For such occasions, give the Ice Cream Dock a try. They have a small but delicious selection of Lapert's Hawaiian ice cream including kona coffee and tropical fruit options. There are tables outside the little storefront and it's directly across from a lovely little lake that kids can explore while you leisurely enjoying your ice cream. Parking is easy since it shares the Safeway complex
