I have moved 4 times in the last 8 years and I have used several moving companies that did not care about your items and would take their time moving. I have several breakable items and usually move those myself because I'm afraid that the movers would be careless and break them.
After calling several moving companies in the Charlotte area (and trust me, I interview each one of them), I came across Gentle Giants and gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Was I ever surprised in their professionalism. The day of the move, 3 guys showed up and they were very professional, clean cut, very polite and were courtesy of my needs of what needed to be moved. The items that they were moving were heavy, bulky items that my wife and I just couldn't move ourselves. To my surprise, they wrapped each item completely with moving blankets to protect the furniture and they were very quick in loading and unloading the truck and even told me that they could move some other items that I was going to move myself. They walked throughout my apt and asked if they could move anything else for me or even help me with anything.
Compared to any other moving company that I have used I would rate Gentle Giant with an A+ and hopefully other moving companies can learn from them.
In about 2 years my wife and I will be purchasing a house and without any doubt in my mind I will use Gentle Giant again and I highly recommend them for all your moving needs.
