Review content:
It's nice to visit a small business rather than just go to the mega-rental places like Blockbuster and Hollywood Video. That's part of the attraction of Bostonian Video. For residents in Allston, it's convenient, and it's cheap. New releases are just $2.95 and regular movies are $2.50. You have to become a member, but that is a simple process. The downside, in my opinion, is the prominent "Adult" section right next to the register. It's pretty visible even though there's a curtain in front of it, because people are often passing back and forth. It's a little sickening.
Bostonian Video has a better selection than you would expect for a small video store, but if you're looking for a rather obscure movie, you'll need to go elsewhere.
Service is quick, and the man who works there (I'm pretty sure he's the only one who does) is very kind.
