Businiess name:  D'Elegance Salon & Day Spa Katy

Review content:
I'd read the reviews on citysearch about D'Elegance in Katy - and to be honest, was scared to death. My normal hair color...once upon a time was brown. The last couple years, it's been red. I love it. Pale skin and green eyes - red hair works. But - in my opinion - it leaves ALOT of room for screwups. But - we are expecting a baby in July, and money is being spent on baby stuff - so I decided to use a gift certificate that a coworker had given me for my hair cut and color. I was GOING to use it for a massage or a pedicure after reading the reviews. But figured, worse case scenario, I'd be having them recolor it. I arrived - and was greeted by friendly staff.. Faysia or something was her name. She welcomed me and asked me to sit in their waiting room. A few minutes later, my stylist came - a very nice young lady - (going to butcher her name) - Jeanu. Blonde and mid to late 20's. She asked me what I wanted - explained the whole brown/red thing - and that the cut needed to be shortened. Fayima came and brought color swatches, and they determined what color I would need, and proceeded to color it. Did the roots first, and then the rest. My stylist offered me something to drink, and kept up a friendly conversation. She was helpful, and open - and I really enjoyed getting to know her. She rinsed my hair, and then proceeded to cut it. Without a doubt - she knew what she was doing. I asked her for her preferences - color or cutting - she said cutting - allows much more of the personality to show through. She did a fabulous job. She razor cut the front of my hair, which lets it blend wonderfully. My color cost me $75 and the hair cut & dry cost me $55. I had $100 gift certificate, it ended up costing me $30. It was WELL worth the money. The color is perfect - the cut is beautiful - it looks perfect with my skin tone - golden red honey - not a bit of it brassy. I'll go back again - next time on my dime alone. Pros: Parking, Friendly Staff, Got in quick Cons: Chairs are close together.
