Review content:
I went to the Capital Grille with some friends for dinner, and was blown away by the attention to detail. Our server used my friend's name throughout the entire meal; I felt like we were part of some kind of "in-crowd". You have to try the calamari; our server suggested it as their signature appetizer, and while they have a full list of interesting cocktails, as well as a more than adequate wine list, ask for the Captain's Wine List if you're in the mood to drink something a little more off of the beaten path. The service makes you feel very special; it's no wonder the place was packed even now in the middle of summer. Someone already wrote this, but the best way to dine is to just sit back and let your server tell you what you should be eating. During the summer, the the wait for reservations and the wait to sit is not nearly as long as it is during the rest of the year, but make reservations anyhow, if anything just to be addressed by name during your experience!
Pros: Excellent food and wine, extremely attentive and personalized service.
Cons: During the winter, you'll need to book reservations 2-3 weeks in advance for weekends.
