I would recommend Discovery Church to anyone who is looking for a friendly atmosphere, freedom and a strong gospel word. Plenty of ministries, for women and men to become an active part in throughout the week. From Alpha to a women's study to a men's study, youth ministry, bible study, prayer and healing ministry and much more.
The praise and worship team is one of the best in San Diego and North County. Associate Pastor Scott and Deanna, Blues, Fritos, Dave, Richard, Pete and Mike combine to make this a special uplifting Sunday, you'll come back for the worship, music and gospel message each Sunday.
If you are open to receiving a powerful word from Pastor Chris, love and fulfillment of the Holy Spirit and friendship each Sunday then this is your church.
Pros: Smaller church, mighty powerful in the word and Spirit
Cons: Difficult to find, until you make your first visit
