Review content:
A friend tipped me about Cold Creme last week and I made it there this weekend. This sweetly decorated shop sells food oriented beauty products like Chocolate Milk Shakes for the bath and other cute things like stationary and candles. But that's not what will lure you there. It's the gelato and sorbet. Flavors like Thin Mint, Truffle, Peach, Pineapple Pesto, Pistachio and many more. We settled on a large dish (about the size of a small dish of generic ice cream) and opted for tastes of Whitehouse gelato, a mixture of sweet cream and a swirl of cherries, and watermelon with chocolate seeds sorbet. The quality far surpasses any other shore area gelato or sorbet and I have done a decent amount of research in this area. Handmade ice cream is also available. The dishes and spoons they serve you in are adorable, too. If you get lucky, you can pop your head through a window into the kitchen and watch the gelato come straight out of the machine.
The atmosphere is grown up and girly, perfect for meeting up with your gal pals and dishing on the latest news.
