STOP looking! You don't know us, but I assure you, we are picky. We work in healthcare and have a vet in our own family (lives out of state) so we've heard all the horror stories... and believe me when I tell you we get very serious about how important finding the right vet practice can be. In short: it doesn't get any better than this! EVERY person we've recommended this clinic to has come back to thank us - because yes, they are that much better! Go to their website and read about how differently they handle surgeries... you'll be surprised and relieved! Need our personal examples? Two important examples for you, first a sad one, then a happy one... 1) Our beloved dog Lily, lived for 14+ years, and the night we had to say goodbye to her was more horribly hard than I can say. Laird Goodman DVM was our primary vet for Lily, and as the evening closing time drew near, it became clear that Lily was maybe not going to make it. Dr. Goodman, despite having worked a very long day, stayed in that office with us until midnight. He just kept telling us not to rush to a decision and that he would be close by in his office but give us privacy to talk and be with Lily... He was generous and compassionate, and very wise. He was who you would want if you ever had to face such a decision... and so we finally did this last kindness for Lily in letting her go. A week or so later, a card came from the vet office with hand-signed personal notes from most everyone at the clinic who had known Lily over the years, along with a garden stone that had her name engraved on it. Need I say more on this example of compassion? 2) Now a couple of years later, we welcomed 2 new puppies into our family, and they have just turned 1 year old and are healthy now, BUT when younger, they had every manner of mysterious unpredictable health mystery... the drama was weekly if not daily. At each turn, these seasoned vets (Primarily we see Dr. Goodman and Dr. Chea Hall) went above and beyond in every way to make things right. ALWAYS taking the time to answer our questions, educating us, searching out the latest research rather than just doing "standard" protocols like many vets do... and we now have two healthy and happy young dogs as a result. Further, their front desk staff and techs all treat us with compassion and complete consideration. If only clinics treating humans worked like this! At every turn, this team do go above and beyond and really give the best in medicine and caring. I can't recommend them enough!
