My colleagues and I used to go to Royal Delhi Palace very often for lunch. It had a good selection and the service was fair. For the last several months however, the service has taken a turn for the worse. Including the staff treating customers like annoyances rather than valued guests. On a very recent trip we witnessed one staff member performing an unhygenic act (that Cit y Search won't allow me to state), that lasted several minutes and occurred several times. I will try and allude to it by just saying this is something someone, especially anyone working with food, should go to a restroom to do, using a tissue and then washing his hands profusely. Not out in the open for quite a long time, then bring you more bread!
I'm sorry to be so crude, but wanted to share that experience. I informed the owner, who stated he would discuss with his staff. So in all fairness this may not happen again, but I won't be returning.
Enjoy your dining in general!
