A friend of mine told me about Paradise awhile back. Having had horrible experiences at these so-called gelato places up here in LA, I was a little hesitant to try it out. Anyway, my drive I ended up making down to Manhattan Beach was made worthwhile by the gelato at Paradise! The substance is of a smooth, creamy feel, rather than the nasty rock solid stuff I've had up here. My favorite flavor has to be pumpkin, which is available in the fall. I'd also recommend the tiramisu and their heavenly gelato pies!
