My daughter is only 8 yrs old and since the school year began she has not been picked up once at her scheduled bus stop in the morning (Conte/West Hills). And her bus is constantly late dropping her off in the afternoon. It is supposed to drop her off at 3:40pm and doesn't come until 4:10 pm or 4:15 pm. Last school yr (2008-2009) her bus in the a.m was constantly late we would sometimes stand at the bus stop for 45 mins after the scheduled time for her to be picked up which made me late for work on several occassions. This is an on going problem with this bus company and they seem not to be concerned with the safety of the our children who wait at these bus stops (sometimes alone) for extended periods and in my case never being picked up at all. There have been numerous complaints and no actions taken my next step is going to the Dept of Transportation or the Board of Education.
