Review content:
Our teenage son spent a few years attending Kumon in Fenton, MI for math. They were very patient and very positive with my son. Even though I am good at math, and consider myself to be a good father, trying to work with my son once he got the "teenager" attitude was nothing but frustration for both of us. They were very good at working with him and building his esteem and confidence. I was especially impressed with the franchise owner Jim, and the additional efforts that he put forward.
It was well worth the cost to see them bring out the best from my son through their flexible homework and testing program and tutoring which were specifically geared to our Son's current needs, available time, energy, etc. Their awards program was another great way in which they build their student up! Our son enjoyed the progress awards (i.e. prizes) and the medals and certificates.
In fact I was so impressed with them that I have been considering going there myself to get some of the math that I did not get at the small high school that I attended, or with my business degree (i.e., Trig, Calculus). This seems like a great way to prepare, as I am considering going back to school to get an engineering degree).
I heartedly recommend Kumon of Fenton, regardless of the students age!
