We had a reservation at the Sonesta Hotel Orlando Downtown for the long weekend, My flight was delayed from DC and I reached Sonesta the next day at 6AM, I they your reservation is cancelled and we can help you, I called the stupid manager at Sonesta when my flight was delayed and told her we will arrive late but she did not take a word what we had to say and told us your reservation is canceled and hotel is booked. This is when Clarion Resort & Waterpark comes into the picture, I called "getaroom" and they guide me to this waterpark around 14miles from Universal. The lady at the front desk was so sweet,she let us check in at 11am, and the rooms had a very good for $45+$10 Waterpark fees. Over all if you plan to drive a little far from Universal , this a very good place for the little amount you spend.
