Did you ever have a customer service experience that was so outstanding you just had to tell people about it? Well, I did. The Aspen Dental team at 2638 Delaware Avenue in Buffalo , NY is , without a doubt THE best I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. These fine folks...ALL of them ...were the epitome of caring, knowledgeable, responsible dental health care professionals. Upon my initial appointment I was surrounded by people who seemed focused on me and my failing dental health-- (broken upper denture, a partial that no longer was playing the 'part', 9 remaining teeth ravaged by periodontal disease, yep, my mouth was a mess. Erica, the dental hygienist took me to the ex-ray room and her soothing demeanor immediately put me at ease. Within a few short minutes, Dr. Stocia very thoroughly examined my mouth and explained what he saw. Never once did he ask why on earth I had let it get so bad, never once did his demeanor telegraph that at 53 years old I should have known better than to let it go so long. As he spoke at length with me the overarching theme was: '....This is what is it (included visual aids, a mirror so that I too could see what he was seeing, tip sheets, etc.); this is how we can fix it, (again visual, auditory, and tactile presentation) ; here are some options; what do you think?'" Then, the man listened to me...I mean really listened to my concerns and comments as he answered my questions. I was most struck by his ability to accurately read my non-verbals...his explanations were succinct and he diagnosed my situation with pinpoint accuracy. We agreed on a treatment plan. He understood the urgency of my request to get it done as soon as possible. When I left him I met with the Office Manager, Christy, who, too, understood my sense of urgency. I cannot work without teeth. I have no dental insurance so I paid out of pocket. Christy found a 20% off coupon for me that saved me over $700. She didn't have to do that, but she did and I am forever grateful. ( a $700+ savings is significant!!!). Within one week I have my beautiful new dentures. Kudos to Robert, the other dental hygienist whose chair-side manner , coupled with Dr. Stocia's skill, set the stage for what was a painless extraction of 9 bad teeth . I had numerous appointments within this one week time frame and Kristen, the receptionist, was a master at scheduling those 5 appointments so that they fit my work schedule and the office work flow. Monica, the lab tech who crafted my new dentures did a beautiful job and adjusted my dentures so that they fit my mouth is such a way that my smile looks so very natural. I could go on and on about this experience, but you get the drift: Aspen Dental, Delaware Ave in Buffalo is THE REAL DEAL!
