Review content:
I've lived in Los Angeles all my life so I am used to a very wide collection of sushi restaurants. And in my opinion (just an opinion) it is hard in America to find a location other than L.A., Las Vegas, and NYC that has the high demand of sushi chefs and the quality that those highly populated areas require, until I visited this place. My bf lives in Orlando and has taken me to other sushi restaurants in more popular locations like one on Orange Ave. (I won't name names you'll just have to figure it out), and this was without doubt a hundred times better! OK, well I go for the sake, sushi, and sashimi, so if you go for other things on the menu, I couldnt offer a suggestion, but my bf I had ordered the California, Happy, Alaska, Rainbow, and Super Dragon rolls and they were all terrific. For one, they almost never fall apart easily in your chopsticks which certainly means they were made well, as opposed to so many other sushi restaurants that boast about their sushi, only to have it end up splashing into pieces in your soy. Second, unlike so many other places, it was refreshing to try rolls that wouldnt start to taste like the rest, clearly the ingredients are fairly fresh and still have a distinct flavor. The only thing I might just nitpick about, just a little, would be the amount of cream cheese they put in their sushi. I am not really a big fan of cream cheese unless its on a bagel, and only a tiny bit, but when I would bite into the roll sometimes it tasted more like i was having a mouthful of fried cream cheese with a piece of salmon. But other than that the sushi is fantastic! Pros: Well made/ ample parking as opposed to downtown Cons: not recommended if you like dark candlelight atmosphere
