I really want to like Mother's; it's vege, it's in my neighborhood; it's friendly. I've eaten there almost ten times now, every time hoping that I will find my Mother love. No dice. It's not the staff, or the ambiance, or the service or anything like that. That' s all good. Unfortunately, it's the food. Way too salty, and yet at the same time totally bland. It's a bizarre accomplishment. Sometimes the food is downright nast. I got a soy patty for breakfast once, man was that thing sickazoid. And I like me some soy, don't get me wrong. Not sure whose Mama she is, but Mother's needs a refresher course in dishing it out. PS: Rumor says that the rachero sauce is actually prego's original. Mother ain't no Mamacita, that's for darn sure. Sorry, Mother's. Tough Love. Pros: nice folks, good service, good location Cons: food, food, food
