Review content:
My Husband was rushed to the E.R with a DEEP laceration on his left elbow. He waited over 45 minutes just to get checked in, then another 45 minutes before any nurse came in to check on him. When a nurse finally came in to asess and tend to his injury she was rude and didn't seem too concerned. After another 30 minutes he soaked through the initial bandages and we had to press the "Call" button for a nurse. After 10 minutes she finally came in to re-wrap it. He soaked through that bandaging again in about 20 minutes. We pressed the "CALL" button yet again and this time it took about 15 minutes for a nurse. NO DOCTOR YET! After about another 20 minutes the "Dr." finally came in to asess him, he removed the bandage and said "I'll be right back to stitch you up." Another 20 minutes passes. His wound left WIDE OPEN. I finally went to the nurses station and asked for him to be wrapped again since the doctor was no where to be found. She gave ME the bandages and I had to wrap my husbands wound MYSELF! Finally after about 4 Hours a Doctor came in to close his wound.
They were horrible with giving him pain medication on top of all this. It's horrible to watch my husband tear up from pain and the nurses not giving him anything because they were too busy "Talking" amongst each other.
So PLEASE if you have a serious laceration or just any problem. Southshore is NOT the place to go!
Sincerely,
Victoria Lloyd
