AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST!!!! INCOMPETENT STAFF, TIRED, DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND VERY UNFAIR TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. I rented their ski equipment yesterday (Jan/2011) for me and my two sons. On the very first run, a boot binding exploded off my oldest son's ski. (and he's an easy going beginning skier). We took the parts to the repair shop at the ski lodge (as we didn't want to have hassle with removing all of our gear and driving back to the shop), and two technicians at the ski lodge repair shop both suggested that the boot, which was adult shoe size 10-1/2, was too large to the child's ski and bindings, and never should have been used on that ski. Coincidentally, I later ran into an employee of Big Bear Boars who was on the slopes and she said "YEAH, WE HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THOSE BINDINGS, WE REALLY NEED TO TELL THE OWNER ABOUT THEM". To make things worse, upon returning the problem skis with the faulty binding, the store clerk refused to give me more than $5 credit for my time, the inconvenience as well as the loss of ski time for both my son and I. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST!!!! They are INCOMPETENT, THE EQUIPMENT IS JUNK AND THEY ARE UNFAIR TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.
