Review content:
What separates good businesses from excellent businesses is customer service and Carolina Auto Spa has a lot to learn in this category. I took my car in to be cleaned because I saw that they had very reasonable prices and a good looking facility. The job they did on the car was better than could be expected from an automatic car wash alone, but it was clear that they cut corners. For example, the rags they used on the windows left noticeable streaks and there was a dirty footprint on my carpet after they were done cleaning the car. I also noticed a scratch in my wheel after leaving. It was clear that the scratch was fresh and I am very careful about parking my car, so I decided to speak to the manager. She looked at the wheel and insisted that the car wash would not have scratched the wheel and suggested that I contact a wheel repair company with whom Carolina Auto Spa had a relationship with. I did so and reported back to her what I found out. Given the circumstances, she agreed to pay for the repair, which I appreciated. However, after several weeks I heard nothing more from her, so I attempted to contact her by both phone and e-mail. She did not respond to any of the messages that I left her, so I finally gave up. I think I'll go back to a bucket and a hose in my own driveway from now on. Pros: Prices, Location, Convenience Cons: Poor Communication, Quality of Work
