The Sevier Valley Center used to be called the "Multievents Center;" thank goodness for the name change. Especially because the building itself is stunningly beautiful. Easily seen from I-70, I bet many are the drivers wondering, what the heck is that place... Incredible! SVC offers a beautiful theater, with a large entrance lobby area, grand staircase, and entry way with beautiful wood paneling on one side and glass wall on the other, over 50 feet high. The theater itself has a large stage, with floor level and balcony seating, seating hundreds. The acoustics are excellent. It is a very pleasant place to go for any cultural or civic event. If you're ina group considering playing at the theater -- you'll love it. Enthusiastic audiences as well! There is a large stadium area also for larger events seating thousands. The building also has classrooms for Richfield High School and Snow College Richfield, and physically bridges the two campuses. Which leads to the only downer -- finding the parking lot. There is lower level parking next to the high school, but its a loonge walk to get to the theater (fro the stadium its okay). For the real parking lot you need to drive clockwise all the way around the college campus to get to the actual lot.. There are signs, it's just unfortunate that there isn't a direct road to the lot. You can see a photo of the SVC on the Richfield Mall's "Beautiful Buildings" area here: http://richfieldmall.com/homes-building.html There are some lovely photos of the theater's entry area at Christmas time at the Richfield Mall web site here: http://richfieldmall.com/scenes6.html
