Businiess name:  The Food Company
Review by:  Ryan M.
Review content:
The Food Company offers local favorites including mochiko chicken and hamburger steak, along with more unique dishes such as oyako donburi (chicken and egg on rice) and crabcakes. Located in the Enchanted Lakes Shopping Center, the Food Company has become well known for its large portions and cooked-to-order freshness that’s rare in these days of fast food heat lamps and microwaves. Sadly, I've noticed that the Food Company seems to run out of many menu items very early in the evening. It's almost as if they purposely underestimate to prevent waste. Admirable, i suppose, but it is also very frustrating when many of their specials are missing components that ran out earlier. Bottom line: the Food Company is still a solid value for home-cooked-style meals, but order early; don't come on Monday or Sunday night ('cause they're closed); and bring cash, as they don't take plastic.
