Review content:
After a fun morning of antique crawling, my four senior passengers and I were hungry and ready for lunch. I thought finding a dining spot where everyone would be happy would be quite difficult. And, then I happened on Crostini's at South Shepherd Street. We arrived at 1:45 and they close their kitchen at 2 p.m. Yet, they took us in, allowed us to have fabulous leisurely lunch, and treated us like royalty. They offered 3 luncheon specials in addition to the regular lunch menu. My choice of roasted corn crusted tilapia was divine, and my dining companions all cleaned their plates as well. One person had the creme brulee for dessert which was silky smooth and flavorful. Another had the Godiva chocolate cake - sinful for lunch time! Kudos to our server who helped my parents, their friends and I finish off a wonderful day. I look forward to stopping at Crostini's again the next time I'm in Houston!
