Review content:
We have rented from Hallmark for the past year, and have had a few maintenance issues, which have always been addressed promptly and efficiently. Rachel is in charge of maintenance requests, and she is always on top of things and is a pleasure to work with. As with any rental company, there will be small annoyances like application fees and seemingly exhorbitant security deposits, but Hallmark is willing to work with their tenants respectfully, and even waived an application fee for us when circumstances deemed it fair to do so. In short, they run a tight ship and make sure things are taken care of, and are also willing to listen to their tenants and act accordingly.
As a side note, the particular property where we rent (one of many managed by Hallmark) is tucked away from the heart of Bloomington, almost in Ellettsville. Not only is the property much more spacious than anything in town for similar or higher price ranges, it's also a family-friendly neighborhood that is protected from the cramped and noisy atmosphere of the rest of Bloomington. I've rented elsewhere before, and this is certainly an upgrade.
