I became pregnant at an age where the odds of having a down syndrome baby are greater. With new technology offered by this clinic, you can now get an ultrasound, when combined with a blood test, will tell you more specifically what your odds are. For example, if according to your maternal age you have a 1 in 200 chance of having a baby with down syndrome, this test will narrow down your odds to determine whether or not you need further testing, such as an amniocentesis. It might tell you that your odds are now 1 in 20,000 or it might tell you that your odds are 1 in 75. I highly recommend visiting this clinic.
