Businiess name:  Pickwick Theatre
Review by:  Chris S.
Review content:
The Pickwick Theater was built in the 1920's or 1930's, and has an Art Deco look to it. It is one of the few remaining traditional big screen theaters left in the Chicago area. The owners have actually expanded the theater, by adding four other screens (ie the more traditional, smaller types of theaters), which are in additions that are in the back of the building (conveniently located near the Starbucks.....) And they show the current movies that are being shown in the area, too. The theater does need some renovation, but it is kind of cool to sit and watch a movie that way we used to when we were all kids. There is no parking lot, but the library parking is across the street on Prospect, and there is street parking.
