Review content:
2 months ago my wife and I decided to buy a nice house in Mooresville. It was big and well situated and after a look inside and out, were we ready to buy. Then my wife had the intuition to hire a professional home inspector to tell us if the house was worth its price. So we contracted BenchMark Residential Inspection Services Inc. (http://www.benchmarkresidential.com/) and told them we believed the price the seller was asking was too high and asked him to give us a detailed report of the house’s condition. What we learned from the report was astounding: first the house was flooded 14 inch above the slab not once but twice which we didn’t see the first time. 2nd some walls had mud like substance that started to grow inside and the walls were painted many times over to hide them and the water lines from the flood. Originally we wanted to bargain the house for 10 to 20% off its price but after the report we scrapped the entire idea altogether. We are deeply thankful for BenchMark Residential Inspection Services Inc. insights because they saved us from a deadly mistake we were about to commit. They provided us many other reports for houses we were interested in and in the end we bought one that was worth our money.
