I don't know where Marie B. gets her info, but her info was wrong about them "not having samples"! Boehm's in Poulsbo always gives out samples. If they don't have a sample plate readily available, all one has to do is ask and they will happily give you something scrumptious to chew over; usually a full-sized sample! I LOVE chocolate. And I have to say that Boehm's at Poulsbo never lets me down in the way of chocolate. The atmosphere is very nice. You walk in and you smell the melted chocolate that they keep warm for their fabulous hand-dipped ice-cream bars (which are rolled in a yummy mixture of crushed toffee and toasted nuts, no less). Not only do they have a large selection of chocolates to choose from in differing price ranges (they have a "Select Line" and a "Gold Line"), but they also have interesting, unique gifts, plus, other bagged candies and treasures from around the globe. I have to say, Boehm's Chocolate Shop in Poulsbo is my favorite place on Front St... or in Poulsbo, for that matter.
