I rented from BPM for one year and would never rent from them again. They don't feel the need to return full security deposits and charge for everything. They are in the business of ripping students off and charging hidden fees every month - even if you're not at fault! I lived with 3 other people and none of us were smokers, yet we were charged an additional $20 every month for "cigarette removal" from the communal area of the property ($20*10 units = an extra $200 in BPM's pocket each month). During winter break, we were instructed to leave the heating at 60F, so we left it at 65F, and when a pipe burst and the downstairs neighbor's apartment flooded, we were charged $400, despite the fire department confirming that the thermostat was at 65F. It took over a month to get our drier fixed and longer than that for them to fix the lock on the balcony door - someone could have easily broken in, and we were 4 girls living there. The carpets were disgusting when we moved in, but they insisted we damaged the carpet and took most of our outrageously high security deposit when we moved out. I only received about 1/3 of the original deposit. Rent from BPM if you like being ripped off!
