Businiess name:  C & C Lobster Pound & Chowda
Review by:  Tom M.
Review content:
Used to be that when I wanted good seafood, I'd head toward Gloucester or Ipswich or Salisbury, and if I wanted lobster, it was York or Kittery in Maine. But for the last few years there's been a great seafood restaurant right here in Dracut. Ya, in Dracut! C&C is in the Bridgewood Plaza on Rte. 38 (Bridge Street). They have a live lobster pound with crustaceans starting at 1 pound up to monster 6- and 7-pounders, sometimes bigger! And if you don't know how or don't have the facility to cook them yourself, they'll do it for no charge! Their lobster rolls are fantastic and rival anything you get at the Raw Bar on the Cape or any of those other places 'the Phantom' recommends. Plus, the rolls come with fries, onion rings, or rice. C&C has a full fried and baked seafood menu. The chowda is some of the best anywhere, and I've had chowder everywhere up and down the New England coast. The original owner recently sold the restaurant, but he trained the new owners and they've kept everything, including the quality, virtually the same as before. Check it out!
