Review content:
I discovered Meininger while looking for paper to make custom items for my wedding. The store is HGUE and has a ton of paper selections and a large amount of art supplies. It appears the regular customers are art, architecture and design students.
It's a bit easy to get "lost" in the store if you don't know what you are looking for. There are so many different types of paper that it's hard to know where to start looking. I found the staff to be very helpful. When I told them what I was looking for they were happy to point me in the direction of several items that might meet my needs.
As a side note, they also have a very interesting collection of pens - any kind of pen you can think of, even very, very expensive fountain pens. It was an interesting detour to browse them.
Parking is no problem. There is a lot just across the street. Even on a busy Saturday afternoon there were plenty of spots.
