I wish I had read all of the terrible reviews about him before! Charlie is a crook with no morals! He had my car for THREE months for a problem that other shops said is a 5 day job. He never answered my phone calls, and when he DID answer, he had some "new" problem that was wrong and tacked $500 onto the total. I was finally fed up and went to Calanni to get my vehicle. No other mechanics will touch my vehicle after he has. I eventually had to get the lakewood police involved because Charlie wouldn't even tell me what I owed to get my car out of his shop. He cursed at me and called me a deadbeat and said that I just didnt want to pay for the repairs. With the help of the police, Charlie finally let me see my bill, for 800!!! He had also forged my signature onto the bill saying that I was satisfied with all work done. I am now opening a civil claim to get my car back and prosecuting him for forgery. Lakewood police said that they've been trying to close his shop for over TEN YEARS
