My intensive search and all the ways I looked for the right colorist, took me to one person - . Jeanise Aviles. I've spent years and years going to a ridiculous number of colorists trying to find the right person to color my hair the exact what I had always imagined. Not just blonde, but the perfect shade of Ash, almost white NOT brassy, not yellow and not gold. We spent the first 30 minutes of the hair appointment simply discussing my hair. No colorist previous had ever spent that much time trying to work with me to accomplish exactly what I wanted. She suggested protein treatments and various options to obtain the results I wanted yet still keep my hair healthy in the long run. Not only does she spent quality time with you before she begins the process, she makes you feel very comfortable and is very cautious/careful throughout the enitre process. From that day forward, I'm a loyal customer for life. I've had countless number of people stop me everywhere I go- in the street, on the subway, in Saks, out and about anywhere and ask me about my hair. I feel so fortunate to have such an amazing colorist and without her, I'd still be hopping around salon to salon trying to find the right blonde.
Xac Anthony, as a salon, is a spectacular expierence. Everyone is extremely friendly, all smiles and found myself laughing and joking with everyone. Not exactly your usual salon expierence. I recommend it to everyone who inquires about my hair and where I get it done or salons in general. I couldnt say one bad thing about Xac Anthony's Salon and Jeanise. I look forward to going back every few months and out of all of the hundreds of salons I've been to in the past 7 or 8 years throughout the south and NY, Xac Anthony's has far exceeded them all.
