Review content:
Emmett's has become our anchor whenever we are in NY! Close to all the tourist stuff, but staffed by people who actually care. The pot roast is an absolute joy on a cold winters day. The Guinness is as good as anywhere on the planet. I have NEVER had a bad meal or bad service in this bar. On our last day in NY (17th Dec 09), the owner thanked us for our business and gave us a drink on the house..........not everywhere in NY demonstrates that kind of customer care. So for Tommy and Lorna here in Scotland, it's nothing but the highest recommendation for the people, the drink and the food of Emmett O'Lunney's. I hope it remains our first port of call in NY for many years to come. Can't recommend it highly enough. Cheers guys!
Pros: Cold Guinness, hot food at very reasonable prices
Cons: None as far as I am concerned!
