Review content:
Gordon College is a four year college. I attended Gordon for two years, and then I left. I really enjoyed the academic aspect of the school. As far as that goes, I have not find any academic environment yet that has been able to match it. I really enjoyed studying under professors that were at the top of their respective fields. Personally, I could not, however, handle the stifling environment. First of all, it was in the middle of the woods, so there was no real way to get away when you felt a lot of pressure... and there was a lot of pressure... to figure out your relationship with God and your life goals, all at the same time. It really started to make me feel cynical after a while, which is why I left. I have always been a very spiritual person and didn't want that to stop.
Some people could handle this school (obviously - and many do), but it takes a special kind of person, as the environment tests you, as a person, extremely hard.
