Sea bar has some of the best sushi in the city of Los Angeles! With inventive appetizers like the Spicy Tuna Tacos to your traditional edamame, you won't be dissapointed! There are amazing sushi rolls on the menu as well! Some of my favorites are the Baked California Snapper Roll and the Spicy Lobster Roll! For your friends who aren't too keen on the sushi there is the extremely inventive BBQ Costilla roll which features char sui beef short ribs, and orange segments in the roll that is topped with some fried plaintains. This site lists Sea Bar as $$$$, but the rolls are jumbo size an original sushi joint and well worth the money!
I have seen complete strangers become fast friends while sitting at the communal table! It can easily go from an empty table to a happening party in a matter of minutes, with people sharing extra food and raving about their new favorite Sushi place!!!!
A must have is the Tropical Ahi Salad! with a sashimi of mango and ahi and a fresh salad of lychee, watermelon, cashews and avocado, the salty compliments the sweet and the crunch blends perfectly with the soft! I will only go to Sea Bar and the Mondrian for the best sushi in town!
Pros: Inventive and unique sushi rolls!
