Review content:
We orderd a cake for my daughter's "Sweet 16" birthday party. We were told that they would be at the shop that Sunday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. for pick-ups. We arrived at approximately 1:15 p.m. and they were not there and a sign was on the door that said they would not return until Monday. We had to go to Sam's and purchase a substitute cake. After the party was over we received a call saying they were back at the shop and that we could come get the cake. When we received the cake after the party, it did not have any of the writing that we had ordered on it. When we contacted them to complain we were told that they would have the owner call us back but they were not sure when she sould be in next. Four days later we received a call from Christi who told us that there was nothing that they could do because they had the cake ready on time and they did not show that any writing was supposed to be on the cake. This was not true. She was rude about it and had no concern about making sure that we were a satisfied customer. We had purchased another cake from there previously, but will never do business there again and do not recommend that anyone else to either. And i might add that the cake from Sam's tasted just as good or even better than the cake from Sugars ($118 vs. $30).
