The Harvard Credit Union is a GREAT place to bank. Unfortunately for many, you do have to either be employed by the University or related to it somehow to be a member of the Credit Union. If you can get in somehow, I do recommend it! They are a full credit union offering many different services and members earn interest on checking accounts! (It is a small amount, but that is much better than fees!) I came from Fleet when my husband and I got married and I could not wait to join. About a year or so ago, my husband was pick pocketed when we were downtown. The thief stole his debit card and spent all of our money. The Harvard Credit Union was so helpful in crediting our account for the money lost and helping us go through the process to protect ourselves from further damage. If you can get in, we recommend it!
