Review content:
It's rare to find a mechanic that not only knows his stuff, but is reasonably price to boot. That was Eldon (until my last experience).
Eldon's a great guy, very knowledgeable, and won't cost you $70 an hour for his work. Over 3 or 4 years I always managed to break vehicles enough that I was a pretty regular customer.
My last dealing was a different one though. Down to only one vehicle in my driveway, my Jeep carburetor needed rebuilt. Calling Eldon, I informed him of the situation and asked if the work could be done in a few days, given my situation. Assured that it could, I dropped off the vehicle.
Not going into lots of detail, but a MONTH later the work still had not been completed and I picked up the vehicle. Apologies were given that the job was not completed, along with a bill for $100 for parts used. I paid and left very dissatisfied.
We all get busy, but after this situation I cannot recommend his services. Yes, this was only one incident, but one is all it takes.
