Businiess name:  Yama Japanese Restaurant
Review by:  Micheal S.
Review content:
Yama is a small, family run Japanese restaurant that caters mainly to the University's Japanese students, but all are definitely welcome. Seating only around 25 people, Yama offers rice and noodle hot bowls, select sushi (like California rolls) and Japanese box lunches. Yama, the owner, is always in the kitchen and has an incredible memory for his regular (and not so regular) clients. You are always greeted with a hearty hello, and with an even more enthusiastic thank you when you leave. Not great atmosphere-wise, but the food is very tasty. I like the "beef bowl", a large bowl of rice covered in spicy tender beef, sautéed onions and Japanese radish. Get the iced green tea as a side and you are set! Tell Yama Mike says "Hello!"
